Pepper steak is a Chinese stir-fried dish made with sliced beef steak, sliced bell peppers, onions, other ingredients such bamboo shoots.
Not to be confused with steak au poivre, a French dish consisting of a steak coated in a brown sauce with coarsely cracked black pepper. Also known as a pepper steak or peppercorn steak.
