のらくろ 野良犬黒吉 のら山黒吉
A Japanese comic strip by Tagawa Suihou that ran from 1939-1981. Norainu Kurokichi (Norakuro), the title character, was a dog that served in a canine military based on the IJA.
Presumably not to be confused with Norakuro-kun.
