The Nakajima E8N (Type 95 Reconnaissance Seaplane, Allied "Dave") was a catapult-launched seaplane, used in the shipborne reconnaissance role by the Imperial Japanese Navy between its adoption in 1935 and the IJN's dissolution in 1945 (though it was obsolescent and out of front-line service by 1942).
