This design was later improved from the South Dakota 1920 Super Dreadnoughts; they were paused due to the Battle of Jutland and cancelled few years later.
Kansas is the continued What-if scenario if they continue to create more powerful Battleships by 1944 aslongside with the Colorado-class battleships. The South Dakota class Dreadnoughts are the next Battleships of the Colorado-class Battleships surpassing them with speed of 23 knots and she comes with a Vermont style Acceleration system, she carried triple 406mm mounts and a very advanced Anti air suit for her time.
