ジハード, lit. Jihad is a historical novel series written by Sadakane Shinji that was first published by Jump J Books between 1993 and 2002 consisted of eleven volumes.
The novel up to volume 5 was illustrated by Yamane Kazutoshi and the rest was illustrated by Shiba Minako. In 2003 the series was republished by Shueisha Bunko and condensed into 6 volumes. Starting from January 10, 2014 the series is republished again by Kodansha and is illustrated by Eihi.
