An alternate form Mario gains when using an ice flower. It has two variations that appear:

In Super Mario Galaxy, Mario becomes effectively an ice sculpture version of himself.

In New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario's shirt and newsboy cap become headwear, and his overalls become red.
