She has long black hair with her real-life pagoda mast as a hair ornament on her left side, and red eyes. Her default outfit is a nontraditional miko style comprising a white kimono top, black obi with her fire control directors, red hakama short skirt, red thigh strap, white socks, and okobo.
Her rigging is composed of her real-life 35.6 twin gun mounts arrayed two per side, and additional fire control directors on her knee pads.
As she is very much an image of the classical Japanese beauty (in particular the geisha or shrine maidens of Kyoto), she is also given the "京美人戦艦" ("Beauty of the Capital" Battleship) tag on Pixiv.
