Diamond plate, also known as checker plate or tread plate, is a metal plate with diamond-shaped textures on it as anti-slip feature. Due to ease of production combined with lower hazard risk, diamond plates are commonly used as flooring for contemporary structures such as factory, bridges or stairs.
