She has long pink hair tied into twintails and with an ahoge, and green eyes. Her default outfit (representing her Italian service) consists of a black vest, black shorts underneath a black skirt, black thigh boots, and a green hair bow. As UIT-24 she wears a black hair bow, and as I-503 she wears a pink hair bow.
The historical Comandante Cappellini was seized by the Japanese after the Italian surrender in 1943 and handed over to Germany as UIT-24. She was seized back by the Japanese after the German surrender in 1945 and commissioned as I-503.
