One of the playable special infected in the Left 4 Dead series.
The Boomer is a large zombie whose ability is vomiting bile onto the survivors that attracts a horde towards them. True to it's name, it will explode when killing one and covering anyone in bile caught during it. It makes a distinct gurgling sound when near one.
