A playable character in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and The Blade of Light, Fire Emblem: Mystery of The Emblem, and their remakes. In the former, he is mutually exclusive with Samson - the player cannot recruit both in a single playthrough.
In Mystery, Arran serves as the "Jagen" of the game, starting out as a powerful unit, but later loses his viability due to poor growths. This is explained in-game to be the result of a terminal illness, which he succumbs to and dies in the ending.
He has medium, blonde hair, wears pink armor with spiked pauldrons, and often holds a spear, his weapon of choice.
